I've not had an interest in Hollywood people for a very, very long time, but even when I did have an interest, it wasn't about their personal lives. On the other hand, I have a S-I-L that knows all the gossip about the movie and TV crowd. However, she is clueless in so many other areas. She asks her youngest son who she should vote for because she can't seem to do any critical thinking of her own. She has really gotten lazy about learning about so many issues.

I have no problem with Will Smith hitting Chris Rock. It makes sense to me to occasionally see someone actually slap the **** out of a person when needed.

I watched the whole thing, Chris Rock got what he deserved. I was proud of Will Smith for standing up for his wife.

I guess I grew up watching too much George Carlin and of the like? Too many people get offended too easily now... I mean with the history between Will Smith and his wife, it could've been MUCH MUCH worse.

Funny thing is..... Will Smith made MILLIONS on being a comedian.

Brilliant! This is the way to save the Oscars plummeting ratings. Have Jerry Springer host them next year. Bring all of the nominees up on the stage and then Jerry announces the winner and let the donnybrook begin. The loosers can flip off and cuss the Academy, throw chairs at each other, yank out each others weaves while security rushes in and meagerly tries to stop the violence. The ratings will go through the roof!

Will Smith was laughing at the joke , then got the evil eye from his wife , then slapped Chris rock like a girl, and then cried over it when he apologized about it. I could care less about any liberal Hollywood crybabies !

Rat **** bat **** dirty old ****, sixty nine a$$holes tied in a knot…I’m never offended and I love watching sports and movies while cleaning my guns, it’s who I am.

As for Will Smith and his wife, that’s their business and no one else’s. Chris Rock got slapped and that will set the stage for years of great comedy being “edgy” for a reason. A person laughing at a joke that is risqué needs to see that sometimes it is indeed too risqué.

Last night was a perfect example.
