So when he started that business, everybody else was hiring people who knew what the **** they were doing?
Read this one and you tell me.
Especially that little bit about “butt butt we built a sensor to tell the driver when the hull was failing, they just come back up”(edited to add, this prediction doesn’t seem to be working)
Can’t do nondestructive testing on carbon fiber, bullshyte, X-ray and ultrasonics………
What did they do hire hunter as a consultant?

Best of the best, brightest of the brightest, and so on died sitting on the launch pad, while on their way to and on their way back from space. Things happen and can happen anywhere to anyone anytime pretty much no matter the activity. Some just have greater risks than others.
Guess how you never die in space or in a submersible.......never get into either.
Yeah, there are a lot of risk takers out there, and some relish in the super risk. It comes back to bite you in the worst way.
Could the billionaire onboard spent the rest of his life on a beach with a hotty at his side? Certainly, could have.
He chose to explore the limits and it bit him and the other passengers.
They are doomed, the rescue effort is for show only. Looking at pictures of it and knowing the pressures at 13,000' I'd never step a foot on it.

At 4000 meters I would imagine that the stream through popped bolt hole would be lethal. Not like a 60,000 PSI waterjet machine but still an unpleasant death.

ETA: At one of my aerospace jobs our waterjet cut through a 8.5" titanium forging. Kinda like the anvil in this video but is was a titanium billet that the Gulfstream G5 engine mounts were machined out of. We got about $20,000 apiece for them.

Los Sinkos?? 🤪...... Uuuuhhhh Cincos???? It always amazes me what the "media" locks up on. Yes it is tragic for the families involved, but day after day, hour by hour, for 5 folks that paid a steep price for a carbon fiber casket??? Get back to the Kardashians, or the dress Jennifer Lawrence wore. Sheesh!
Makes me wonder was it built by Audi. News paper heading Quatro Cinco.
