My '94 K1500 was the gold standard of all of the trucks I've owned. I sent it to the next owner with 325000 miles on it. For the OP's truck I would take a serious look at anything rubber, hoses, belts, seals. Those deteriorate over the years and need attention.

Don't forget vacuum lines. Those things get brittle as can be.
