Sure it confirms I'm a full on geek, but I find it very handy for calculating what item the best bang for the buck when shopping for stuff. And its cheap!

I wear one of the Timex "Ironman triathlon" watches. They seem to last for a long time.
I only have one watch. It's an Oakley stainless. Unfortunately is has been in the shop for a couple months and I am starting to doubt they are going to get it running again. I hate not having it. I am tethered to a cell phone as well but I'd rather just look at my wrist than get my phone out of my pocket.
I *would* wear a watch but I do not currently own one aside from a couple of collectable heirlooms that are put up.

The trouble I have is that wrist watches simply do not last very long for me...regardless of price. Hell, I tore up a freakin' Breitling in under 90 days.

Ouch. I have a Breitling, but haven't messed it up - yet - beyond a few minor scratches in the bezel. My current Phosphor watch, on the other hand, has a nice big crack across the lower face, so sometimes it becomes a matter of thinking "Uh, it's 11:53... or is that 11:58?"
