The battery life can be a drawback, but mine is on some charger or another a lot of the time.
And most of the time, the actual time doesn't matter to me anyway. When I have an appointment I always arrive at least 15 minutes early (much to the dismay of my leave just in time to get there wife). If I'm there 14 minutes early, I think I'm late. If I'm not the first one there I feel like I'm late. Character flaw I reckon. One of many.

Not since the summer of 2004. The battery in my then-current watch went out the day before I was to leave on a week-long cycling trip. I decided if I didn't miss it on the trip, then I just didn't need it. Eight and a half years later, I still don't need--or want--a watch.
