My grandparents lived in BA when I was a kid. The only things I recognize from then are the hill with the tank battery at Kenosha and Lynn Lane, the Kenosha overpass at the BA (although it's nothing like the 2-lane I remember), and the old Walmart at Kenosha and County Line.
It's funny--you don't go somewhere for 20 years, and the whole place changes...
Freddies moved from Lewis?
It looks like there are two Freddie's burger joints (one on Lewis and one on 11th), but I can't tell if they're related.
Arnold's is still awesome in it's new building.... it's really good..... BUT Flo's is ridiculous!!!! The "bomb burger" is so greasy and amazing. God bless I love that place.
