“Bearly” made it out alive!

This young black bear came into our camp tonight about 10 yards away while we were eating at the picnic table. Probably attracted by our food.
Took a couple of pics, then banged on the picnic table and yelled real loud to scare it off.
It turned and left but wasn’t in a big hurry.

8 miles South of Duluth Minnesota.

Well, let's say my .380 mouse gun was in my hand when pounding on the table and yelling.
There are great YouTube videos called Touran's of Yellowstone showing folks getting tossed around by bison and so on.
I'm not one of them. Besides, wife was between me and the bear so there was that safety issue handled.
I had a head start with bait left behind if having to run!
