+1 for Springfield customer service

A couple of weeks ago I posted about a bad barrel in the 1911 I bought from Springfield. I sent the gun to them last Tuesday, their dime on the shipping, and got it back today. New barrel and new bushing. FedEx tried to deliver it yesterday, but I wasn't home to sign for it.

I don't think a one week turnaround including transportation time is a bad deal at all. I figgered at least two weeks.

I'm getting ready to find out about S&W's customer service. Front site came loose on my M&P40. I called them, no hassels, they sent me a Fedex label, it left yesterday and I already miss it, I hope it comes back soon. I can't wait to get back home today to see if they shipped it back yet.
