I have found that my 100 yard idea would not work great for me.
as the guns i have must be funky or just picky..
I have many loads than are in the upper .3" -.75" range at 100 yards
BUT some of those loads go to 6" at 200 yards while a good load i have for the same gun goes to .880" at 226 yards.

Would be nice to have it 200 yards in other words.
I do not get the concept of tubes you speak of dennishoddy.

Hump66 that would work in many peoples favors.

I once tried to put together an indoor underground rifle range using 6 foot dia. concrete drainpipe. that was 25 years ago but, couldn't find enough investors at the time.

.

We are thinking of putting them in at our range. They are concrete culverts that are "aimed" at the designated ranges. If its at 300 yards, one must shoot through the tube. You can't see the top of the berm, hence you can't shoot over the berm. The same applies to the 600 and 1000.
