Agree with the hang onto it for another 8 months. Ther perfect round to ring in the new year.............unless you find out it's worth $1000's of course lol.

This thread got me thinking about some .45 acp rounds I got at our range. We have containers where folks can leave duds, etc to be collected and properly disposed of.
I go around occasionally, gather them up and break them down to their components.
These .45's will not break down with a RCBS collet type puller. I guess the varnish or shellack they sealed them with has glued them into the brass.
They are all duds too. The primers have all been struck very well.
The head stamp says 1930 on all of them.
