Ive always sized them (the very few I've messed with ) To be greater then the alternator that feeds them.

I'd also recommend the AUX battery being "deep cycle"

Another note... Newegg has the exact same charger for 69..

Did you see the jump start feature?

Yes I did see that feature. I was thinking welding lead from the front of the vehicle to the rear. Anyone know if I would want positive and negative, or just allow the ground to go through the hitch?

Those would work great, its not a Warn deal they just sell them. Auto parts stores sell them, or can order them too. Those are popular on wreckers/recovery equipment, and a lot of stuff that have battery boxes/cells. That connection could also be used if you wanted rig up a set of jumper cables or anything else 12V. You could also get a couple extra connectors ends for future implements.

Always here unless I am gone (OKC Metro)
If you have a 7 pin trailer connector, I would you it with a battery isolator and a deep cycle battery. If you only have a 4 or 6 pin, I would use the battery cable extensions. Do yourself a favor and install 1 on front and 1 on the rear. And make a set of jumper cables to go with it incase you forget to leave the vehicle running while you are winching.
