Might be a 426 Wedge...I believe 6 pack set ups are more common for them than for Hemis.

The max wedge hemi was a dual four-barrel 426 or 413....I believe. The 3 two barrel was on a 440 six pack and a 340 6 pack version.

factory yes, but there were aftermarket 6 pack set ups. My understanding is they were more common on the wedges than the hemis.

Max wedges had a cross ram intake 2x4, I know Edelbrock made 6 pack intakes.

Correct. Again, I’m talking after market.

He said it was a 426 with a six pack. Some automatically assume Hemi when you says 426.

I am simply pointing out that there are pre-hemi 426’s out there and folks would sometimes run 6 packs on them....I think you’re more likely to see a 426 wedge with a 6 pack than a Hemi with one.
