1911 cleaning lessons learned

I learned that I should not clean my 1911 on my back porch. I was reassembling and launched the recoil spring plug 20 feet into tall grass. At that very moment, after spewing a few expletives, I learned a valuable life lesson that I will not soon forget. Lol

I had the extractor, spring, and plunger come out of a 10/22 while in yard... that was a PITA.

I have one of those orbiting around inside my garage, never has landed.
