Part of the value will be determied by if it is in the original form, or if it is a Russian Capture, which means the Soviets got their grubs on it and "refurished" it after the war, which usually brings the price down on what its worth.

If it is a "bring back" by a soldier from the war, and you have the paper work proving it, that greatly increases the value.

What kind of shape is the bore in? Nice rifling? Dark bore with a lot of micropitting? Crown of the barrel tight or worn?

Is it in its original configuration or did someone sporterize it and cut the stock and drill and tap the receiver for a scope? That kills the historical value of it.

So many variables........

Find someone that knows their mausers and get them to help you set a price on it..... you may have a rare one and mess around and give it away, or may have a dirt common one and want too much for it.
