My ram with a 3.6L engine light came on and it says oil pressure sensor which is under the intake has anyone replaced one of these? What gaskets will need replaced? It has good oil pressure while driving and at a idle do I need to park it till I can fix it?

Oil pressure sensor light is on, but oil pressure gauge is good?

Ok, to drive. Sensor just screws in, unplug, remove, replace, plug in.

I have NOT done a 3.6L. Mine was at back of intake, pita to get at, but straight forward. Nothing else needed to be removed.

Check YouTube for a video specific to your engine and year.

I did that’s how I found out it’s under the intake but it didn’t show it all like if he had to replace any gaskets on the intake or throttle body

It's under the intake. I've done oil coolers on caravans with a 3.6, which have the sensor on them. Intake gaskets should be reusable. Make sure it isn't leaking before tearing into it. Oil coolers are known to fail and leak oil in the valley and corrupt the sensor reading

The part won’t be here till Wednesday so I’m guessing I shouldn’t drive it till it’s fixed? It has 40psi of oil pressure at an idle and goes up when driving can’t remember what it went to I was supposed to go to piedmont today but I guess I’m not going to make it
