Jax retrieved a limit plus 2 of the collared dove that don't count in the limit. I loved the birds coming in fighting the wind. I had a few doubles tonight and once dropped a 3rd dove by grabbing a 4th shell and dropping in and pushing the bolt release and shooting another dove. They really wanted to be in the vicinity of my dove decoys.
OK, so now I'd like to see how you all prepare and cook these birds.

We ran across a few today.
Been out twice now. 6 on the first trip (no pics) and 11 on the second trip by myself.
Nobody wanted to go dove hunting so I don’t have an issue going by myself.

Nice pics here guys. I've taken the boys out three times and got skunked three times. Places that usually offer a decent shoot. I think they're convinced dad has no idea what he's doing lol.
