Instead of pushing the safety off & letting it click,As I mentioned in another post we lost a niece on Veteran's day so we were down with my MIL last week and I didn't feel much like getting out today. But I did go on an evening hunt last Wednesday. Had a really nice wide buck come right by my stand and let me just say . . . Centerpoint crossbow safety buttons are too loud. I had that sucker in my sights and pushed it off safety and he bolted. Lesson learned I guess . . . from now on the safety will be off as soon as I'm in the stand/blind.
I've done that with it before, but couldn't in this case unfortunately.Instead of pushing the safety off & letting it click,
Use both your thumb & finger & slowly move it into position. It won't make that loud spooky click that will make deer bolt.
It works for me, on my crossbow & on firearms.
Certainly give this a try before you sit with that weapon in your lap with the safety off.
Yeah well, I drove 500 miles to get here, so…70⁰ and on my 4th cup, deer hunting motivation meter is bouncing on zero this morning lol.
