I will explain my thought process. This buck has two of the three traits I want to see in a buck, and that’s width and mass. He lacks tine length though and is shy on points, but I don’t get hung up on the number of points. As I said before, I believe this buck to be 5, and in my experience on this place, bucks usually have their best racks at 6. I‘m hoping he can live and breed at least another year, and if he has the growth jump from 5 to 6 as he did from 4 to 5, he should be a sure enough wall hanger next year.
