Y’all do realize you can buy a federal duck stamp off the ODWC website, and they will deliver it to your house.

That is what I do. I think it is an extra $3 but I would pay double that to not go to the post office.

Got my stamp.....drove about 3 1/2 miles roundtrip to the P.O. and was in and out in 5 minutes.

Yeah, but I go to the post office in Elgin at least once a week, and I’m also cheap. I’ll save the $3 and go in person. It’s not a busy post office by any means.

My buddy called today and he's been checking our pond about every other day for the past two weeks and he said that all he's seen each trip is three coots paddling around acting like they own the place......he's going to check again Wed. and Friday and if there aren't any ducks present we're going to hope for colder weather and hold off going till the weekend after opening.

Found a bunch this morning. Actually excited to duck hunt in the morning. More birds on that pond right now than I've seen on all my ponds together for the last three years combined lol.
