2A Shooting Center Political Email

I received an email yesterday from 2A apparently endorsing Joe Dorman for Governor. I replied asking for specifics but have received no response.

One clarification I asked for was which 3 2A bills Fallin vetoed. I am not aware.

One claim is Dorman has a higher NRA rating than Fallin. According to https://www.nrapvf.org/grades/oklahoma/ each candidate has the same rating.

There was a YouTube video imbedded that implies, to me anyway, the NRA endorses Dorman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8kQCgb16UU&feature=youtu.be Not accurate as you can see from the NRA grades link above.

I, for one, have enough folks peeing on my boots and telling me it's a rainstorm. I can do without this.

I voted on Thursday and urge all on OKShooters to join me. It counts.

Fallin had a little temper tantrum earlier this year and vetoed about ten or fifteen bills put in front of her because none of them were supporting the agenda she wanted at the time. Three of those were pro 2A bills. I don't remember what they were, but she vetoed them not because they were 2A, but because she didn't get her way. The legislature overrode her veto on all three.

Typical election, the voters have to choose between bad and worse. The problem is determining which is which.

Yep R.Johnson has it right. I find the Dorman add touting her veto of these 3 bills to be pretty disingenuous. Factually correct yes, but they are not even close on context and the add is purposely misleading.

I received the same email from 2A Shooting Center. I think that businesses, like movie, TV and musical personalities, should stay away from political issues otherwise they run the risk of loosing their customer base...case in point, the Dixie Chicks...

I was able to find this from last May. Regarding Glock_21 post my Dad claimed to never have voted for anyone. He voted against the other guy.

Sadly, that's about what it amounts to these days. I still feel like the local and county politicians are pretty genuine. Once they get to the state and federal level they all seem to be crooks with their own agendas.

This month's "American Rifleman" magazine shows Dorman with an A+ rating and Fallin with an A.

Fallin did veto several Pro-2a bills.

Fallin is a huge embarrassment to the state and the longer we have a famous adulteress as our "Conservative" governor, the longer this state will be a joke.

I was happy to see that email from 2A and will spend a little extra the next time I'm there to show my appreciation, probably visit 2A more often, too.

P.S. The NRA endorsed Harry Reid too. Just Sayin'
