The 180 would be a better choice for sure, but not if you dont get properly sighted in time. If you get an easy shot with the 150 it will work fine. If you dont get an easy shot the 180 will penetrate to the vitals easier. Normally 180 gr bullets jacket are designed for elk hunting.

It's Wednesday. How much time can you spend at the range? I'd probably go with the 150, shoot with confidence, and never even think about it. You've got plenty enough bullet.

Your probably right. I was sort of dreaming that if I got the Hornady White tail 180's I could just turn my scope down an inch and still be dead on! (Ha ha Right., It just don't work that way...
