Just had a nice conversation with Kevin from TGT. He told me how to go into the admin and possibly head off any major hacks here. They only had two accounts comprised but it could have been worse.

I’ve been in contact with the mods and admin over on TGT. They were able to restore all the accounts that got deleted. I hope we don’t have to deal with that crap here!

i was informed it is Texas Gun Talk, perhaps somehow associated/uses similar site architecture.

and yes, it was a scam. if you look at the "similar threads" down below, you'll actually see the original real ad.
