I'll include Dubs Chops review in here as well, surely he won't mind. Keep in mind his is shooting a 125gr SST vs the 125gr Ballistic tip........... IIRC the SST has a slightly thicker jacket than the BT. Not sure I'd want to poke a 200lb buck with this combo........pretty sure I'll go to a 150gr or 165gr BT next year for him. Here goes.......

Dub's thread below.

125gr NBT shot from a 16" barrel at 2200fps............first deer was a doe from the same stand my son shot his out of, standing in the same spot, 2 years ago. Bullet performed well, entry/exit as I expected from a slow moving BT. Doe was perfectly broadside
Entry.....

Exit........

My son's buck, I'm going to go ahead and say that the bullet came apart on impact, from looking at the entry and the extreme amount of hair on the ground. His buck was slightly quartering towards us.

I've reloaded 30.06 with nosler ballistic tips with great results on deer but I think I've read where guys are complaining about them coming apart and meat loss. Would the accubonds stay intact better than the ballistic tips?

Meat loss is relative to the hunter......I don't consider ribs and a front shoulder meat loss on a whitetail. I've shot many, many 140's out of .280 ' s and 180's out of my 30-378 with no complaints.

Haven't seen one lower than that Bullseye. Really like mine, so do the kids. Justin_h635 has the same as well for his kids. Not sure what he paid. IIRC mine was $280 about 3 years ago.
