Well, I did not make it back to the show on Sunday and was able to find a barrel on Saturday...
I went ahead and ordered a 4” heavy barrel and 4” barrel yoke off eBay.
Not real pleased with not being able to find a 2” as I was looking to make it a more concealable piece.
May be tempted to recoup my funds on the pistol and parts if anyone is interested. Let me know and we can discuss a deal.
The only reason is I really want a 2” barrel 38 special for CC

Is there a reason you can't wait a bit longer?

Yer gonna kick yerself if you sell it and then run across a 2" barrel.

I have considered that as well. Not saying I wont keep it and wait, just wanted to throw the option out there. I am not a gun smith so I will have to take to one and pay them to fit the barrel properly. I will also want to refinish it which will add to time and money.

Well, I decided to keep it and have the 4” barrel installed along with a blast and blue job.
Dropped it off with Dave at MacKools today. He is a very nice guy with great prices. Should have it back by end of May.
Now I need to find a 2” snubby revolver to pair it with.

So they called me today and the S&W is ready. Unfortunately I did not get the message early enough.. Hopefully tomorrow. I will post pics when I get her.
Now I will need some aftermarket grips. If anyone has some Hogue Rubber SMith K Round Butt grips they want to part with, let me know.

Picked it up tonight. 4” barrel installed along with blast and blue job. Turned out ral nice. Just need some new grips. Will try to post better pictures this weekend.
