my wife went for an oil change at fast lanes on broadway (edmond) someone talked her into paying 70$ for wipers.

Trico makes a beam style blades for around 13-17$ now.

That seems high. At Wal-Mart they are less than $20 for the pair. Plus they will put them on for free.

I get the Rain-X blades at approx. $19 each. No skips or smears. When used with the orange Rain-X fluid it gives great performance in heavy down pours.

for me the cheap arnco brand work the best. they dont catch air like those high dollar POS wiper blades do. the cheapest ones i found for my wifes tahoe are 45 bucks.

Can you really blame her? I'm sure lots of people get taken in like this everyday. Sadly, people either don't care or they were never taught about these things. My dad felt its was his responsibility to teach me the basics of car repair and maintenance.

You can get a pair of wipers for less than 15$ if you buy cheapies. Like buy Walmart wranglers or nice Levi's or cinch jeans. Sure the wranglers will cover your ass, but how long.
