Theres a few companies out that make a ceramic coating windshield kit, its a much longer lasting solution than the rainx spray. Definitely something I have considered.The previous owner of my truck said he had the ‘professional’ RainX job done on it. I was like ‘yeah,whatever’. Anyways, 8 years later I still done have to use my wipers in a moderate rain.
I remember having access to corporate pricing at NAPA through an old employer. The discounts were pretty wild.I use an account at O'Reilly. Saves a pretty good chunk. (Mostly parts behind the counter, but batteries get a good chunk knocked off as well)
By the time wiper blades wear out, it's time to trade in for a new vehicle anyway.
I hear you can get a homeless guy in NYC to clean your windshield at a stop light for two bucks. I don't know if they charge more for BMW, but probably.I got sticker shock too. I paid $65 for the cheapest Bosch set I could find for a BMW.
