For the grand sum of around $11, I built a frame out of PVC piping that I use to hang empty power-ade bottles from and plink at.
I got two 10' lengths of 1" pipe, two T-junctions, and two 90 degree elbows. Cutting two 2' lengths from each pipe left two 6' lengths. one of which was cut into 3' lengths, and the remaining 6' length was left whole.
To assemble, the 2' lengths went end-to-end in the T-junctions, and the elbows went into one end of the two 3' sections of which the other end went in the perpendicular hole of the junction, and then the remaining 6' section was mounted in the other end of the elbows, making the cross piece.
Power-ade bottles were hung from the cross piece using cheap kite string, providing excellent, and challenging targets, especially after they had been hit.
Simple and cheap to make. It took me about an hour to to do it.
