A "seasonal" change...

Mrs. GED loves to decorate our place. Whatever holiday or season it is, she has some type of home (and yard) decor for it. Her favorite is Christmas (obviously) like most folks, but mine is today.

Because on Memorial Day, she takes down all the pastels of spring and puts up our Americana decorations! She almost does up this time of year (now thru Labor Day) better than Christmas.

Almost.

So yeah, I hate dragging all that stuff out, but the place sure looks grand when it's finished.

God bless America and God bless those that defended her then as well as today.

Single mom here who left her Christmas tree up for a whole year one time. I would sit at the dining room table with my coffee in the morning and my ice tea or beer in the evening and say to myself "Self, you are a HORRIBLE mom. Take that damned tree down!" Then I would get up and go get the kids up ... Or play with them.

I'm gonna put my Christmas tree on casters and just roll it in and out of our spare bedroom.
