I got 22cci cub sonic in a 500round box for 30 and then cci regular for 40 at the first of the month at sears
so that seems about right

at sears !!!!! man I need to get out more... I seen academy had some 22's at customer service the other day, and a bunch of it.. no bulk though, didn't buy a thing... I applaud academy for getting it in and making it harder for the gaugers to buy

I was checking out at Academy yesterday around 12:00. While standing in line at the customer service line they started opening up a couple of cases of Federal 325 count boxes. The manager working the front said he wished he could put a board up to hide the inventory. He was tired of people walking in the door looking and making a U-turn back out the door.

They had several cases unopened down behind the counter. Sounds like the have started just randomly putting out the inventory to prevent "scheduled visits." I don't blame them one bit.

What are the FPS? I have some that is 787FPS CCI. And would like to find more. All that I have seen that is out there sporadically is like 1075 and that is loud on my squirrel's ears. Shooting it out of my squirrel gun is not any quieter than regular 22 long rifle, oh it is ever so slightly quieter, but nothing like the 787 FPS. That is what I am trying to hunt down some more of.

The CCI Quiet that i got have a claimed speed of 710 FPS

I picked up 2 boxes at the Academy at 81st & 169 at lunch. All they had were Aguila Super Colibri in 50 round boxes. Two boxes ran me just under $10 after tax.

The kids will get a kick out of shooting the powderless rounds through my old K22 Smith.

I just shot some of this stuff and it is very quiet. Quieter than my pellet rifle by far.
