The CCI Quiet that i got have a claimed speed of 710 FPS

BINGO, that is what I need a couple of boxes of. I am down to 19 rounds, and have kept the squirrels at bay pretty good with that quiet stuff. Been packing em in the freezer for a couple of older gents that just love eating them.

So if anyone sees any of that 700 or so FPS, think of me if you don't need it.

Academy in Norman had probably 70 boxes of the CCI Quiet yesterday along with the really heavy subsonic one(I can't recall the brand).

I will run down there tomorrow. Thanks. This is what makes my old Savage 15 bolt action a squirrel killing machine! This CCI 830 and the CCI 710 which is even quieter. I need more of one of these.

In my old Winchester bolt action the "Quiet" long rifle rounds are quiter than the shorts and seem to be a little more accurate.

Your right. They are. We found that out too, last time we went squirrel hunting down at the farm. I won't buy anymore short sub sonics, ever.
