Air Force General Faces Courts Martial

I never realized a 2 star General made that much money. Nearly $190k a year. Not opposed to it, just never realized.

I work with veterans and sometimes that involves seeing their retirement check amounts. I’ve seen upwards of 10k a month for some high ranking officers.

I can be pretty lucrative for an Officer if they dot all their I's and cross their T's. I've seen them graduate from the AF Academy, fly supersonic aircraft, have. cushy ground job, apply for medical school and be accepted. Retire as an 0-6 (Col) or better. and go into business for themselves or work for a corporation as an advisor making even more bucks. General Officers are typically good people, it's the ones clawing up the promotion list that can be snakes. I asked one 4 star General why he didn't wear a name tag and he said "General Officers don't have to wear one." I thought all members of the military had to wear a name tag, anyone heard anything different?
