Altamont Grips

This is what I'd recommend for a 4" - 6" gun...Hogue targets with optional stripe/ grip cap.

If it's a 2.5" - 3" gun, Ahrends retro bananas are fantastic.

The photo below shows the squared contour of the grip horns on the Altamont targets as well as the flat profile of the backstrap.

I can only attest to Altamonts J-Frame grips, as I have bought several and was always pleased. I also put a set of beautiful Cocobolo Hogues on a PPK/S and found it was interfering with the trigger bar. Mr. Dremel took care of that with a bit of judicious fitting.

Put my money where my mouth (or in this case fingers) is. Just ordered these for a Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Sp. Will also fit a .22 mag Pathfinder I picked up. Thanks for the push.
