You can disable Notices and Stickies in Tapatalk's settings.


Nvm... doesn't seem to work...

yeah, I tried that, and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Apparently it used to, and then they changed it so it hides ones you've read, so you have to read them in order to hide them, and then they pop back up whenever someone posts to them.

For whatever reason, I use both, and have no problems with either. Maybe living in the sticks with less traffic on the broadband? Dunno

I'm not sure what it is, but during peak hours (8PM-10PM) the Forum Runner script starts throwing errors. There's usually over 900 users on vBulletin, 20-30 on Forum Runner, and 80-90 on Tapatalk at that time, and Forum Runner is the only script that's regularly throwing errors. (vBulletin does occasionally, but it's usually due to 100 users hitting the page at the same time that it wants to run vBulletin's "cron" jobs. I'm still trying to figure out how to reliably get those to run without requiring a user to hit the forum so that they just run in the background like any sane system would allow.)
