Some people don't want the police involved. Maybe the English guy has other kinds of paybacks involved. The LDS(Mormons) have their own goon squad. However it's only made available to the upper leadership of the church. They do some personal protection but they also take care of other stuff. Google Mormon Danites. Regular level church members have either never heard of them or will deny they exist. They do.

Always had a positive impression of things Amish until I learned about the how common really inhumane puppy mills are among the Amish. Horrendous. Look it up. Until they clean up this part of their house, I'm off 'em.

That's BS,we loved Dirty Jobs and Mike Rowe. Sad, very sad....

One of the few shows I could actually sit and watch with the kids without reaching for the mute button or changing the channel.

I expect Rowe wanted too much money to go on with Dirty Jobs. No reason to cancel the show other than something like that. Rowe's making way more money on endorsements. He's branded as an honest hard working blue collar guy and can pretty much write his own ticket. His income for one year from Ford alone probably makes him more money than all the money he's made from Dirty Jobs combined. More power to him.

As for the amish mafia, caught maybe 5 minutes of it last night and had to turn the channel. Looked like a bunch of morons. I have been watching Amish: Out of Order on National Geographic and its not bad.
