WalMart is in the middle of retail reset in prep for hunting season. They bulk buy and don't restock until they get ready for hunting season. Give it a week, or two and you'll see all those holes in stock filled in. You'll also see them return to selling long guns (many WalMarts quit selling shottys and rifles 4-5 years ago).
