So you’re saying these kids got the same raising as you.

I remember how it was 50 or whatever years ago. Not the same.
Don’t know. I’m 52. My kids were raise around firearms and taught to respect them. Both had Daisy BB guns at around 3, had to help hold the barrel up where they wanted it and can outshot me. My daughter is 30 and son is 28.
Can you imagine a kid riding down NW 50th in Bethany with a rifle on the handlebars or slung on their back today? Those jack boots would have a hay day.
Shoot, the Warr Acres police took my son’s knife away from him after stopping him skateboarding. I had to go get it back. I had bought it for him. I like Warr Acres cops, but dang. He was 12 years old. We all carried a knife when we were kids.

I remember back in the 70's when I lived in Northern California,,,
They introduced a ban on cigarette vending machines.

People were trying to find alternative products that could be vended,,,
I remember that one gun store in Yuba City bought boxes that would fit the machines.

He hand filled the boxes with the absolute cheapest ammo he could find,,,
And vended several different calibers of rifle at 10 rounds each.

Handgun ammo he vended at 20 rounds each,,,
And .22 LR ammo at 50 rounds each.

I have no idea how long the venture lasted,,,
Or if he even turned a profit on it.

I drove by the store every weekend for over a year,,,
I only saw it the one time I went in the store just to check it out.

It was interesting though,,,
I bought some .22 ammo just to see the machine work.
