Historically gold prices go up when government trust goes down and vice versa.

If the repuplicans win both the house and senate IMO gold will stabilize or the price will drop a little.

If the dems retain control of either house gold prices will continue to rise.

Run a Bolinger Band analysis instead of moving average (use 3SD instead of the standard 2SD that Bolinger uses). If the current price is higher than the 3SD level then yeah - I'd agree - a pop is in the offing.

I think the article had a lot of "guessing" involved, but he did make some good points. Seems a little lacking on the foundation side tho...not much factual information in it. But a good read.
