I don't know, these are still not in my comfort zone for knife making, I like making 7 - 9" hunting knives, These big things are a pain in the butt, but with that said I get them, I use the one I made for myself all the time. This one has a coal slag blasted finish and that's it.

14"ish total lenght
8 1/2" blade, cut from 1/4" thick 0-1 tool steel
handle is black and greay g-10 with 3 pins, finger and palm and thumb jimpering cut in at .1" deep
sheath pressed out of kydex.

wow! How long have you been making knives?


I have been making knives since I was about 12, my dad taught me how. Since then I would go through spells of making 2 to 4 knives a year. About two years ago I started making them to sell and making more, I can make about two a week if I'm lucky. I'm 41 this year so I guess I've been doing it for 30 years but picked it up a lot in the last two.
