I fully defend her right to chose as long as she doesn't attempt to impose her beliefs on me.
I see no way to force anyone to defend themselves.

I personally prefer to make attacking me and mine much more trouble than it is worth.

I know a couple three of those granola-crunching hippie people. Old hippies too with either no hair or gray hair. No one from Berkeley though. I may just be lucky. None of the ones I know are anti-gun and a couple are definitely pro gun. I don't know what petite has to do with anything though.

The best comeback I've heard is to ask the person if they can hold their breath until they pass out.
They will have to admit that they cannot. You then point out that the reason is that they have an instinct to survive.

Once the instinct to survive has been established, you point out that if someone is choking them they will fight to free themself so they can breathe.

So there is no such thing as a pacifist, just people who wait too long to fight back and fail to prepare to fight back.

Resisting evil is entirely moral.

Nothing more than race does, which was kind of my point. I guessed based on the described behavior ("I'd rather die than hurt another person" is certainly a very liberal position), which has nothing to do with ethnicity.
