they have to read all the mail going in and out. so go figure from there.
if you have the money order recipt you can call the company and cancel them, or someplaces that you bought them from can cancel them, thats if they have not already been cashed. if they get canceled you get the money back, IF they were cashed, the place that cashed them should have the persons ID information
Don't rock the boat. Simple report the money orders lost with whomever you purchased them from and request a refund. Having the receipts will speed it along.
Cancel the MO's. If it's a county lockup, contact their internal affairs person/division and file a complaint.
Ouch. How much stink you make also depends on how long he is gonna be locked up.
