I'll be honest here, I'da stopped at finding the nut that fit.

5 minutes at the bench grinder, a few squirts of black spray paint... Done!

Well, that was the plan, but the only nut I could find was a grade 5. Plus the CZ thread protector was only $15 on eBay.

Bought this 10/22 with laser for the wife to play with several years ago. Put a scope on it but she didn’t like it. The crappy laser died and new battery didn’t help. Decided to pick up this red dot for her MUCH better.

Have the complete rainbow every color manufactured for M107A1, MRAD (including MK22 Coyote in 3 caliber Deployment Kit), REC 7, REC 10. Fortunately, Fieldcraft only in one color. Unfortunately, in 9 calibers....a ways to go. Bring on those FS Fieldcrafts.
