Anybody get anything cool that is gun-related today?

Thanks to a heads-up (actually two) from Catt57,,,
I scored another magazine for my Taurus 25-PLY pistol.

I've been on a search for mags for quite awhile now,,,
I like to have 5 mags for my semi-auto's.

Anyways, I found out that the 25-PLY mags are made of "unobtainium",,,
Fortunately, with some info from another forum member,,,
We determined the mags for the PT-25 will function.

They just have a different base-plate,,,
But they function so I'm a happy camper.

So now I have the 22-PLY and 25-PLY pistols,,,
Two original magazine for each of them,,,
Three Mec-Gars for the 22-PLY,,,
Three PT-25's for the 25-PLY.

Here's what the final cased set looks like,,,
It's finally complete.

This satisfies my OCD feel very nicely,,,
A rimfire/centerfire matched pair of pistols,,,
Five mags each with an ammo supply and cleaning tools.

All in a nice wooden case.

I now be a happy camper!

If the charging bar has been brazed in this area, it is probably mine I mistakenly traded for an 870 30 years ago. I want my Western Field back! The 870 was a POS to me because I couldn't hit one bird with it.

Nope no brazing at all on it.

Got in a variety of stuff not all pictured here, most of it was just admin stuff for my range bag. Tape, Staplegun, sharpies and what not. The knife and mag carrier are the main haul, I'm a sucker for damascene knives.
