Thats a good looking table setting !

I'm beginning to think they are rabbits.
I need to update, but have to wait until Wif is gone for a while.

ETA: gun show, boat show, rv show, outdoor show in Lawton.

I will be there to observe the over priced crap and possible 1 or 2 decent buys.

I picked up a Caspian 1911 45ACP the other day. The frame and slide are stainless steel, polished to around 1500 grit. The gun looks like it only had about 200 rounds put through it. The scope is an Aimpoint, although an older model.

It looks like someone ordered a custom bullseye gun and didn't use it. Stainless bullseye guns are relatively rare because they get scratched up in the field.

Bullseye guns are a lot cheaper now than they were ten years ago. They are extremely accurate but not as popular as they used to be.

Then again, AR's are accurate but are also a lot cheaper now than they used to be.

Range report to follow.
Interesting that the ejection port is half covered by that mount. I'm expecting there to be no problems with this.?

Met up with a member today and acquired a 1952, Tula Arsenal, Russian SKS. After doing a deal with another member for the Chinese SKS I have, I had to have a Russian. Especially since I have a couple of Russian AK’s 😁.

This SKS is exactly what I wanted. 100% non-forced matched numbers, non-refurbished, all original, Tula Arsenal, very clean rifle. It is so clean in fact, I took it all apart and it appears it has never been fired!

Member stated it has been owned for many years and kept in the safe. It is absolutely beautiful!

Went to Lawton gun show. Crowded, typical and weird.

The "dealers" were so inattentive and apathetic. I found a Colt New Police .32 and I was interested. Asked the "dealer" 3 times if he had any wiggle, I had cash.
3 time, he looks up and says, "that's it" and looks back to his book.

I walk a couple tables down, a good selection of "used" holsters. I see a nice leather holster that would fit that Colt NP or my S&W M30. I pick it up, look it over, want it. The "dealer" is cleaning a shotgun. I ask about the holster. Nothing.
Another guy comes up, picks up a holster, then asked about it. I tell him, "he is more interested in that shotgun than customers. The "dealer" kind of laughs / smirks. We walk off.
A table full of ammo, "dealer" is woman texting. A guy walks up, says, "excuse me" 3 times. She continues texting.
The guy's wife walks up, asked him if she had any black powder? I tell him, "good luck". We talk a bit and the "dealer" says, "go to Walmart or Academy."

My Wif comes wandering by and says she is ready for lunch. I go back by holster table. "Dealer" is cleaning another shotgun. I pick up the holster, ask him, "how's it going." He never looks up, says, " kinda slow, just lookers, no buyers." I say, "plenty of buyers, no sellers" lay down the holster and walk off.
Walk by the Colt table, "dealer" is talking with "dealer" at next table, "worst show I've ever been, nobody has money." I picked the Colt, "do you want to sell this?" He says, "price is on the tag."

As we walked out, Wif says, "I was walking around, watching people. Lots of people looked like they wanted to buy, but the "dealers" wouldn't talk to them."

We went over to RV and boat show. Totally different vibe. Old man had table with 30 or so, varied rods and reels.
I bought an outstanding Garcia 5000 on a Heddon rod $25.
Walking around the show, seen a dozen guys carrying rods.

I found a gun on Armslist last October. It was at Green Country Arms and Pawn, so I went over and asked about it. It was just before the fall Wanemaker's so I put it on layaway and completed the layaway yesterday. It's a Sig Sauer P226, with a stainless steel slide. There was no box and it only came with one 10-round magazine, but I thought it was well worth the price I paid for it. (SSN partially blanked out.)
