Anybody get anything cool that is gun-related today?

Went antiqueing today with the wife and kids. Found some good left hand leather. It's amazing I've been wanting a J-frame for a while, now I have 3 more reasons to get one. I got all 3 for $20.

Decided to try and learn a new trick and just couldn’t pass up the deal I got on the slide with the red dot already installed. Plus this gun has been sitting in the safe not doing anything so why not have some fun

The Romeo makes a good jump into the game. Big window, clear glass and simplistic controls.

Just playing with it at the house I like the quick acquisition and the fact that its got the suppressor height sights so even if glass fails there is a built in back up.
That's the only way to do it I'm my opinion. I go as far as putting a white line on the top of the optic housing and find where my 5 yard point of aim is too.

You might remember last month I talked about the Taurus G3 17 round magazine I bought about a month or so ago. I needed a sleeve to help it fit my G2c. Lakeline LLC had a new sleeve listed where the baseplate locks the sleeve so it doesn't slide on the magazine. I bought one of the 17 round and one of the 15 round versions, received them today and installed them in just a few minutes. The fit is great and they look almost OEM--the only difference is in the color of the polymer between the grip module and the sleeve. Pics to follow.
