I haven’t shot it with the rifle stock yet but I really like it so far. Very soft recoil and sound compared to a 16”. I also saw a video where a level 3 steel armor plate was stopping a 16” but the 20” punched right through. Not that I ever expect to need to do that, but it’s bad frickin a$$ if you ask me!

he tests a few different calibers and shoots it with the 20” AR at the end

Found a Unicorn.

This is the Savage 6 / Steven's 87T in the Sears store brand. It is uncommon to find these in the Tenite (plastic) stock. No rust and a helluva price.

Probably never know the difference once I get it installed but figured it’s worth a shot, or 100, lol.
Those YouTube guys were saying it has a different recoil pulse and it doesn't go boing.

Those were not their reasoning for using them though. They use them because they have seen buffer detents fail before.
