No help on shopping, they have been hard to find for 20yrs now...
had a couple on early flattop .357s and Single Sixes, and great for those, BUT...
Ruger went to the revised drawing/RED to give more room for middle knuckle than the Colt-style original due to it being a middle knuckle pain, and the RED works better for many with bigger bores, myself included, and I even sold my SAAs and stuck with a Blackhawk .45 since 1976 for that reason. The older frame aluminum was not very pure and so often showed a tendency to corrode from inside out, unlike their later ones, so look hard at any prospective frame for corrosion.

And I cannot blame you a bit, and perfect for that, and get the grips with it if at all possible....just look carefully for corrosion/white/flaking signs, it is internal cancer and no grinding/polishing it out, as it is running in metal grain boundaries if there.
