Sweet. How old is your son? If you are anywhere near Broken Arrow, I will donate a box of 22lr to get him started right!
11. He's been a challenge. My daughter is 6 and she loves shooting.

Edit* I appreciate the offer though, we should start a young OSA club

Met with a member today in Woodward and traded a Glock 17 Gen 2 for a Glock 19 Gen 3. Might regret that one later. Really did like that Gen 2…

Then I had to treat myself at Butchs Guns in Woodward and I got a brand new Glock 43x with an extra Shield Arms 15 round Magazine. Excellent shop. Lots of inventory. Appeared to be similar to OKC prices. Hopefully I can use their indoor range next trip through. 10/10.

One of my leather makers, put this up on their Instagram page. Something told me I had to buy it. Found a good use for it today.

Cowhide with a reinforced horsehide base.

Finally finished my MACV-SOG tribute build...not a true clone, but close enough for me. CAR-15 stock & grip finally came in today, ordered from Retro Rifles way back in early September.
I blame Jocko's podcast and John Stryker Meyer for this obsession.
Can't decide if I want to paint it or leave it with the two-tone reciever.

My oldest daughter will be 40 in July, pretty lady with real skilz. she is an awesome woman, does martial arts with multiple black belts, very creative, she sews and does projects with my grandaughters and her sister. Master gardener and does lots of canning and dehydrated food. She is the business head of my family, provides financial overwatch for all of us and during the last couple years has dealt with alot of crap, yet keeps her cool. I would be a mess without her help. She commutes about 35- 45 miles a day through the busiest part of KC metro and is a manager at a medical physicians mgmt organization. Girl's plate is full every day.
She likes range time, her and her husband have an indoor range membership, but she shoots their 6" model66 357 S&w and her husbands full size S&W mp. I think she really wants her own carry rig now.
So for Christmas I got her a new Glock 26 with night sights, 2-12 rnd and 2-10rnd mags full of defensive ammo and a bag full of 9 mm ball to learn her new gun with and a Hornady car safe for her vehicle. I will let her figure out her own holster likes.
Her level of personal integrity, calm warrior in a garden temperment and observant momma wolf situational awareness makes her an armed asset in the community .
