I have a watch I'm working on that has a brass case plated in nickel. The plating is worn through completely in some spots and I'd really like to have it redone. I can strip the plating and put a full polish on the brass to prep it for the plater, but I'm just not set up to do plating myself. I've read that one can buy the necessary components fairly inexpensively, but there is quite a bit of knowledge needed to do the job right, none of which I posses at the moment. Does anyone know of a place around central OK that can do this type of plating on a watch case?

I don't know anyone who does it locally, but I knew a guy who had his SIG satin nickel plated by Klein Plating in Erie, PA. They did an outstanding job.

I saw them, but decided not to trust the company. Their website directly says they are in Oklahoma City for over 15 years, but you can just change the name of the city to any large city, such as Tulsa or Phoenix, and it'll pop up a mirrored page with just the city name change.

Their only active location appears to be in California.

It just didn't pass the smell test to me. I appreciate your effort though.
