I've done a few. First rule of the game, is to be realistic. Second, is be realistic. The last is get ocd and do as much work on your own as you can. Its always a plus to have long-term storage, catalogue everything, take pictures from every angle and have more than basic tools on hand.
I've done an 84 mustang GT. I bought it from an OSA member who had it sitting in their garage for 12 years. I did all the work on it under his instruction, I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into that car. I miss it.
