I saw one once that liked to fetch bottle caps,
If you 'flicked' a steel beer bottle cap, the cat'd fetch it back to ya..

It's a Green eyed Robber Fly. They like to hang out around my tractor exhaust for some reason during the summer when it's a million degrees outside lol. Not a horse fly.

Ive seen similar ones but they are orange/reddish. Never been bit by one…

I see those more than the green eye ones usually. They're not human biters.
